CaribPubsPro respects the privacy of its members, users and visitors. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use and protect it.
CaribPubsPro is operated by Ambarazul, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company.
1. Information we collect
When you create or use a CaribPubsPro account, we may collect information such as your name, email address, publication name, website address, role and account status.
When a publication connects its website to CaribPubsPro, we may also process the technical information necessary to establish and maintain that authorized connection.
When members exchange stories through the network, CaribPubsPro may process the story and related editorial information, including headlines, text, authorship, images, categories, tags, source information and prepared or translated versions.
We use this information to operate accounts and newsrooms, connect participating publications and provide the story-exchange services requested by members.
2. Connected publication websites
A publication administrator may authorize CaribPubsPro to connect to the publication’s website, including a WordPress website.
That authorization is used only to provide requested CaribPubsPro functions, such as transferring approved stories and related information.
Connecting a website does not give CaribPubsPro ownership or editorial control of that website. Each publication remains independent and responsible for its own publishing decisions.
3. Cookies and newsroom access
CaribPubsPro uses cookies and similar technologies where necessary to operate accounts and authenticated newsroom sessions.
These may keep members signed in, recognize authorized newsrooms, remember appropriate account preferences and help maintain security.
4. AI and other service providers
Members may choose to use artificial intelligence or other processing services to translate, adapt or prepare stories.
When such a function is requested, the information necessary to perform it may be transmitted to the selected provider. CaribPubsPro does not intentionally send a story to an AI provider simply because the story exists in the network.
CaribPubsPro may also use service providers for hosting, email, security, payments, analytics and other functions necessary to operate the platform. Those providers may process information needed to perform their services.
CaribPubsPro does not sell personal information to advertisers.
5. Information shared through the network
CaribPubsPro enables independent publications to exchange stories.
When a member makes a story available to another publication, information necessary for the exchange — including the story, its source and its authorship — may be provided to the receiving publication.
Information belonging to one member is not automatically made available to every other member.
6. Security and retention
CaribPubsPro uses reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect account, publication and service information. Members are responsible for protecting their own account credentials and the security of their publication websites.
Information is retained for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the service, meet legal or security requirements and maintain appropriate records.
Certain records relating to story provenance, authorship, attribution or completed exchanges may be retained after an account is closed when preservation of that history is necessary to maintain the integrity of the network’s records.
7. Your privacy rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights concerning your personal information, including requesting access, correction or deletion.
CaribPubsPro may need to verify your identity before acting on such a request.
Because CaribPubsPro serves publications in different countries, information may sometimes be processed or stored outside the country where a member is located.
CaribPubsPro is a professional service intended for publications and their authorized representatives and is not directed to children.
8. Changes and contact
We may update this Privacy Policy as CaribPubsPro develops or as legal, technical or operational requirements change. The current version will be published on this website.
